IN DEFENCE OF ORIGINALITY: In an era of retellings and AI-generated content, we champion original stories crafted by real human writers. We believe that readers crave authentic voices and fresh perspectives, and we are dedicated to providing them with compelling narratives that both entertain and ignite the imagination.

SUBSTANCE OVER SURFACE: Whilst we appreciate beautiful books, we believe that the true value lies within their pages. Although we occasionally produce limited editions, we do so only when the story has the potential for a truly unique and innovative book design… something that has never been seen before.

FAIR ACCESS, NOT ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY: We will not exploit readers or artificially inflate demand by producing expensive hardback editions or subscription models. We will primarily concentrate on formats more affordable to our reader than costly hardbacks: like e-books, paperbacks and audiobooks.

INTEGRITY IN SALES, FAIR PRACTICES FOR ALL: We pledge to operate with transparency, ensuring our sales reflect genuine reader demand and that our books are accessible to all. We will not participate in practices that exploit readers or undermine the integrity of the publishing industry.

RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT: We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by carefully managing the production of physical proofs. Recognising that traditional proof copies are often intended for single use and subsequent destruction, we will prioritise digital proofs whenever possible. When physical proofs are necessary, we will explore eco-friendly printing options and encourage responsible disposal or recycling. Our goal is to minimise waste and reduce our carbon footprint, ensuring that our commitment to storytelling doesn't come at the expense of the planet. We believe that responsible proofing is a crucial step in creating a more sustainable publishing industry.
